Get to know me.

Melissa Macleod grew up in Oneonta, NY, the older, wiser sister to two brothers. Her first leading role was as the wise woman in her kindergarten graduation production of “Hats for Sale.” Critics (Mom & Dad) raved. Melissa’s entire family was bit by the theatre bug and appeared in numerous dance shows and community theatre productions together. How many people get to say they did “Nunsense” opposite their own mother as the Mother Superior?

Melissa attended UNC Chapel Hill where she majored in Sociology and discovered her love for Excel spreadsheets.  Her favorite part of making Thanksgiving dinner is using spreadsheets to track the shopping list, timeline and oven temperatures.

Melissa received her MFA from The Shakespeare Theatre Center’s Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University. While living in DC, she ate her weight in the area’s finest Ethiopian food.

Melissa lives in NYC with her husband and daughter.
